Leprechaun Hunting

So I reached Dublin about 8am this morning and went for a wander around Grafton Street. Met up with my good friend Pauline and her youngest daughter Sakuntala. We went for a coffee and then some Dim Sum at the Imperial Chinese Restaurant.. Was very nice Dim Sum indeed.. having said that, I have not had dim sum for a very long time, so any dim sum would have tasted incredible.. however I still believe it may have in fact been genuinely good dim sum... DIM SUM!

DIM SUM!!

So her eldest daughter, Yogini, then joined us and we ate a little more and then went to the Asian market to get some supplies for dinner. It was a proper Asian Market!! I have not found one near me yet.. but this one came complete with Durian fruit!! I had not seen it since I was in Malaysia. Jumped on a bus and headed to Pauline's house where I will be staying until I head back to the UK. Settled in and then went to the local supermarkets to get the final ingredients for dinner.

Pauline, Yogini and Sakun cooked up a lovely meal of Tofu soup, Chilli Sea Bass, salted pork and eggs and stir-fried vegetables.. It was fantastic! I would also like to take this opportunity to say that Yogini and Sakuntala are the sweetest, politest most lovely young girls I have ever met, wish the kids in the UK were more like that, but these girls do have the advantage of being Malaysian so have not had the traditional "British" upbringing that results in the "wonderful" kids we have roaming the streets in packs these days.

We all sat and chatted for a while and then I started writing my blog... THE END.

More tomorrow, but I am crazy tired now, been up 2 days straight :|

Martin Out!
